Published by The Network under Automotive

If you’ve ever seen Discovery Channel’s “PitchMen!” then you’ve probably seen the episode that told the story behind Jupiter Jack and its inspired inventor, Jason Bobb.

The story is still the same bittersweet tale. And Jupiter Jack still provides a safe, hands-free way to talk on the phone while driving.

But a couple things have change: Continue Reading »

Angel Guard Seatbelt Cover

Published by The Network under Angel Guard, Automotive

Parents of young children, toddlers…Do you get concerned that your children’s safety seat isn’t safe enough? And we’re not talking about the safety seat itself so much as your children’s propensity to get themselves out of the seat. It can become rather easy for growing toddlers to eventually unbuckle themselves from their safety seat when you least expect it. As cute as it might be the first couple times you see them back there, giggling at their accomplishment with their feet kicking in delight as you hear the sliding sound of the seat belt slipping back, eventually the fear starts to creep into mind, “What if they do that just before an accident or sudden stop?”

This is the premise behind the Angel Guard seatbelt latch cover. A simple slipcover, Angel Guard slides over the seat belt latch, preventing the young children in the seat belt from pushing them butting and releasing themselves. The video on the As Seen on TV Network-hosted website shows a nice demonstration and gets a testimonial from a city firework regarding how they wish they would have had the Angel Guard seatbelt latch cover when his children were in the safety seat. Check it out.

Angel Guard acknowledges that, eventually, the kids will figure out how to get around the latch. Kids are smart and grow smart every day. They point out that once the kids “defeat” the system to no longer use it. But until they do, the Angel Guard seatbelt buckle cover will keep your child safer in their safety seat.

Windshield Wonder Helps with Drives into Direct Light

windshield wonder to help you drive and seeEver tried to drive west at dusk? It’s a pain. Now, try driving through the blinding orange-red blur with a dirty windshield. This was my nightmare driving into Chicago weeks ago. The inside of my windshield was so bad I actually tried to use the squeegee at the gas station. It almost worked, but I couldn’t remove the squeegee lines without drenching the dash, steering wheel, seat…

No amount of polarized sunglasses and visor usage is going to help you through the blinding solar beams that prevent you from seeing the white lines on the road let alone the car in front of you. And if you’ve ever been on the Chicago nightmare called the Stevenson Expressway, you’ll understand my pain.

My life felt out of order when I heard about the Windshield Wonder.

“Where was this when I was going to Chicago?”

Windshield Wonder is much more than washing your windshield with a rag on a stick. With a pivoting head and a microfiber shammy cloth, Windshield Wonder will let you get to those hard-to-reach crevices and impossible-to-clean front corners as well as providing you with smooth, smudge-free viewing lines. Just sprinkle a little water on the cloth and wipe those lines clean.

And, yes m’dear, the Windshield Wonder will work on the other windows. In fact, Windshield Wonder will work on most any window.

Car’s defrost doesn’t work fast enough for you? Use the Windshield Wonder on the glass.

Is the screen on which you’re reading this post a little to dusty and smudgy. That thumbprint up there: tackle it with the Windshield Wonder.

Windshield Wonder comes with a carrying case, 2 spray bottles, 2 bonnets, and if you order from the website you will get a buy 1 get 1 FREE deal. Just pay the S&H on the second one. One for his car, her car, the kids’ car…

I file the Windshield Wonder under “something I need to use before I drive west at sundown, again.”

(Or going east at sunrise)
