Aqua Globes: Fake Like It’s Spring Till Spring Finally Makes It Way Here.

Published by The Network under Aqua Globes

aqua globes come springThrough the flurry of As Seen on TV Network wintry-themed posts, another thought occurred:

“Fake Like It’s Spring Until Spring Arrives.”

The thought won’t keep my nose from going Rudolph the moment I get out the door, but it does help me once I come back in from the cold. It makes me think of spring-like activities I can do at home.

The best way to think spring is to think green. Similar to St. Patrick’s Day in the color-only kind of way, take the time to pretend like you’re outside by spending more time with your garden plants. Trim them, re-pot them, decorate them. Give your plants extra love.

Give you plants something they will love.

Selling like hotcakes during this cold winter season, Aqua Globes make a fine accompaniment when playing with your home and garden plants. Use them to automatically water your plants. Use them to decorate your plants as well.

Aqua globes can provide you hours of entertainment with your plants as you escape the reality of the cold outside. Use them to help think Spring.

And what about those fortunate few who live far enough south to experience spring-like temperatures? Then you guys can have indoor and outdoor fun with Aqua Globes. Gloss up your garden walkway and let the sunlight play around in the hand-blown works of art. If for no other reason but for the fact your bundled, cold brethren up north wish they were doing it as well.

Either way, the best way to prepare for Spring is to think spring and act accordingly.

Think Aqua Globes.

Aqua Globes as Holiday Decorations?

could aqua globes make holiday decorationsAqua Globes initially began as an automatic plant watering system. Just fill the aqua globe with water, stick into the soil of your potted plant and let Aqua Globes do the rest. But these works of art that water your plants have been taking on a double-life: a home and garden decoration. It was this additional life that made The As Seen on TV Network wonder whether or not Aqua Globes could take on an additional life: a Holiday decoration / ornament.

The curiosity grabbed the network’s attention. If you are becoming inspired by the idea, remember to consider the following ideas:

1. Aqua Globes are made with hand-blown glass so if you plan to illuminate them with the old AC Holiday / Christmas lights, be careful because the Aqua Globes could melt around the light source.

2. If anyone decides to illuminate the Aqua Globe while trying to use the Aqua Globe for its primary purpose (a plant self-watering system), remember electricity and water do not mix. Be careful.

3. Using the Aqua Globes outside in cold, wintry weather could cause the Aqua Globes to crack or shatter so it might be a good idea, if you’re intent on using them for outdoor holiday decorations, to make your Currier and Ives scene, take a picture, and then take the globes back inside.

(Note: As Seen on TV Network is not an authoritative source for product uses, specified or unspecified. As Seen on TV Network was simply curious.)

Aqua Globes Announcement:

Call it a Teaser moreso than an announcement. We’ve recently come across user feedback that said they users liked Aqua Globes but wished that they came in smaller sizes. Well, those users as well as users who share similar sentiments will be happy to know that it sounds like Aqua Globes is coming out with a product line in the near future that could address this concern.

Call this a “Mini” teaser. We’ll pass on more definitive information when we get it.

And a Reminder:

Aqua Globes makes the holiday perfect gift for the green thumbs in your world as well as for the frequent travelers on your holiday gift lift. Perfect for house, small, large, hanging and exotic plants, Aqua Globes watering bulbs is an attractive combination of style and substance for you indoor plant life.

Now, what would happened if someone used Aqua Globes to water their Christmas Tree or Poinsettia?

Aqua Globes – Tips & Tricks for Your Automatic Plant Watering System

Published by As Seen on TV Network under Aqua Globes

I’ve heard from several people that they’ve experienced the tip of the Aqua Globe clogging with dirt. Here’s a neat trick to avoid this:

Use a pencil, dowel or handle of a wooden spoon to make a hole in the soil where you’ll insert your Aqua Globe at an angle and place a strip of weed fabric or cheesecloth over the tip of the Aqua Globe. This should keep the tip of your Aqua Globes from clogging with dirt.

Here’s a fun blog post about Aqua Globes. It must be nice not having to water your herbs for nearly a week!

ABC 11 gave Aqua Globes a big thumbs up too.

Two thumbs up on the Aqua Globes. Kellypuffs says this about them, “It’s glass, it’s pretty AND best of all, it appears to WORK! Buy one. Buy twenty. I’M going to.”

Veronica says, “It’s really pretty and actually works!

“Houseplants make your home look beautiful, but having to water them all the time can be a big job.”

So, do you have pesky plants and finicky flowers that are too much to maintain?

Now these birthday gifts are ones I intend to keep in my line of sight for many years to come… these watering bulbs are called “Aqua Globes” and basically they are handblown glass. I fell in love with this art form on my first trip to Bermuda when Mom and I visited a glass blowing studio there.
