Dual Saw – It Cuts Both Ways

Published by The Network at 11:07 am under Home and Garden

Dual Saw Product ShotSometimes you want to go with the grain, sometimes you want to go against the grain. With Dual Saw, you can do both.

What is a Dual Saw?

Dual Saw from Omni offers game-changing technology when it comes to professional-grade circular saws. With patented counter rotating blade technology, Dual Saw gives you 2 circular blades. One cuts clockwise. One cuts counter-clockwise. Both cut at the same time, side-by-side. This two-prong approach makes quick, precise work of even the toughest jobs.

For those who like power, Dual Saw comes with a 900 watt motor which generates 6,000 RPMs for each blade. Each Blade is tungsten carbide-tipped, allowing the user to cut a bevy of materials.

Is It Really Equipped to Cut Metal? Stone? Tile?

The answer to this question is a resounding, “YES.”

For those wondering about the kind of cuts typically reserved for a wet saw, Dual Saw also comes with Diamond Blades, allowing it to cut ceramics, stone, and tile. And, to keep it from overheating, Dual Saw comes with a professional lubrication system. The lubrication system allows Dual saw to cut soft metals including aluminum, copper and more. 10 lubrication sticks come with an order of Dual Saw – if you order from their site.

Is this a 400 dollar saw?

Gladly, the Dual Saw is available for only 3 payments of $59.99 when you visit their site. S&H is also a cost, but there’s also a lot to ship with the offer. Each Dual Saw order comes with a set of tungsten carbide-tipped blades, a protective case, a 1-year warranty and a 30-day money-back guaranteed (starting from the shipping dates).

Get yours today. Construction season is all year-round.

    Hi, Brian,

We haven’t seen or heard anything yet about selling to Canada. We’ve put in the question to the manufacturer and if we hear more about a Canadian offer for Dual Saw we’ll let you send out the word.

    Hope this helps,

sirs–i love the concept and the machine but there seems to be a fundamental problem with my saw. when beginning a cut on a peice of plywood, i move the blade guard slightly to allow the blades to contact the wood. at that point the guard clamp screw come in contact with the wood edge and i need to struggle a bit to get the daw moving. plunge cuts offer no proble.

do you think the blade guard is assembled improperly i.e. fo i need to loosen the clamp and slightly rotate the guard back toward the saw moter.

also, when i gought the saw online there were some options for extra blades, which i bought, and some other item like a laser and a flat surface to rest on the flat material being cut.

my owners manual did not display accessories..

it is possible that the flat guide would solve my problem. if so how can i purchase??
    thanks–Bill Glisson

This saw has good features and bad. It is about useless for cutting wood. There is no way to see where saw blade comes in contact with line you scribed on wood. Just guessing. Can,t start cut and procede unless you hold guard full open position. No small table guide on bottom as on standard skillaw. Almost impossible to cut without saw going on angle. Also saw quickly heats up to the point where you can,t hold it without glove it cutting 4 ft plywood. Must allow cool down time. Now cutting metal. I was impressed. Witt cut throught 3/8 angle iron like butter. Wear eye ,gloves and scarf. These red hot pieces are flying every where. Great for cutting tin. and body wirk on cars wtc. Also great for masonary.Cuts tile straight.fast. Must have all pieces clamped down tight. Takes two hands to run this saw. Must always hold safety guide open.with one hand. Carbide blades will not last long on metal. Did one fireplace and diamond blades are now junk. If they can put some kind of resting plate on saw and notch to line blade up with work it would be big improvement. I am going to order more blades for cutting metal and stone. I will stick to skill saw and sawzall for carpenter work.
