Yesterday, Discovery Channel ran a PitchMen marathon. I hope you got a chance to see all those heart-felt, quixotic, inspiring moments once again. We at As Seen on TV Network decided to forgo the liveblog of the PitchMen finale in hopes that people got a chance to get to their televisions and see it as it was intended. Discovery Channel did a nice job of paying a befitting tribute to Mays during the marathon; little clips, highlights, and messagesn sprinkled here and there throughout the day.

Discovery Channel Schedules Full-Length Tribute to Billy Mays July 9th

Blogs.TampaBay.com also has reported that Discovery Channel has scheduled a full-length tribute to Billy Mays for July 9th at 9pm (EST).  If we find out more, we’ll pass it along.

Discovery Channel’s website has also posted statements from their president, John Ford, as well as Anthony Sullivan.

Hearts are still heavy here. I think at this point we’re simply thankful for the reports we hear regarding the support that keeps pouring in for the Mays family.
