They look a little strange but Tater Mitts are actually pretty helpful in the kitchen.

They’re so simple to use. Just take a prepared potato and rub with the Tater Mitts. In less than 10 seconds you have a totally peeled potato. Impressive if I do say so myself.

What I think makes the Tater Mitts really nice is that you avoid cutting yourself. You’re not using a blade. You’re not using a dangerous vegetable peeler. I mean, it takes a couple minutes to peel a potato with a peeler, but with the waterproof Tater Mitts it takes just a few seconds.  The time you save is awesome.

And because you remove only a paper-thin layer of the skin, most of the potato is left in tact. I hate it when I use a knife to peel and end up peeling away half the potato. What a waste.
