Top Ten As Seen on TV Infomercial Products You’ve Never Heard of, Yet – October 2009

We’re often bombarded with so many infomercials and ads for As Seen on TV Products that we can get to that point where we think we’ve seen them all.

Many, many times.

But for every Dual Saw and Snuggie on the market there are thousands of products waiting in the wings for their chance to capture the imagination of the infomercial junky inside each and every one of us.

Because of this phenomena, As Seen on TV Network will be starting a new monthly series titled:  Top Ten As Seen on TV Infomercial Products You’ve Never Heard of, Yet.

Some of the products focused in this series are still working on their branding. Sadly, as is often the case, inventors have great ideas but are still looking for the capital to test their ideas in the big arena of Television.

For the most part these products are convenient, demonstrable, and usually solve a common problem. At worst, they’re just a lot of fun. And if some of these products were to have the hundreds of thousands of dollars dropped on weekly media buys to capture your attention, you would know what they are and we wouldn’t be writing about them in this new monthly series.

For our September 2009 edition of Top Ten As Seen on TV Infomercial Products You’ve Never Heard of, Yet, we present the following:

10) Horse Relief – I know, “Horse Relief?” Not quite the product Billy & Sully can push. Once in awhile a good product has trouble reaching a target market. Ever seen a horse successfully use a phone or a keyboard? But Horse Relief comes from the good folks of RZN Nutraceuticals – makers of Arthi-Zen. The help keep your horse’s joints and muscles healthy. I don’t own a horse either but my best friend’s wife has a few. I used word of mouth to tell them and now I use word-on-blog to tell you.

09) Core for Kids – Obesity in Children is an epidemic. If they’re going to be dead-set on starring at televisions and monitors, give them videos that show them how to get back in shape. Designed by certified trainers and geared specifically for kids.

08) Forever Back – for most of us, even when we have aches and pains the show
must go on. Taking time out or off to treat back pain is not an option. Forever Back is a treatment you can use while you’re working through the day. And it’s discreet so nobody has to know you’re in pain.

07) Epil-Mousse – from the under-the-radar makers comes the product that smells like strawberries (which always gets my attention) but actually helps remove hair. Spray Epil-Mousse on your unwanted hair areas, wait 7 minutes, and your hair problems are solved for 6 weeks.

06) Credit Rights – There are almost more debt reduction, credit improvement, and repayment plans than there are customers, but most of them forget to tell you what your rights are. Credit Rights covers that area.

05) Auto Digital NotePad – The Tim Allen of Digital Audio Reminders (not that he endorses it), the Auto Digital Notepad has 3 separate 10-second files for recording and playback, a dash mount, and crystal clear digital sound

04) smokerZchoice – Mints, gums, and lozenges that help curb people’s addiction to smoking. And a free 14-day trial. I might get them even though I don’t smoke.

03) Migra-Zen – A pill a day keeps the migraiens away! Migra-Zen is a natural herbal supplement that helps reduce the frequency of migraines.

02) Arthri-Zen – Arthri-Zen is an all-natural pain relief cream for joints and muscles. Powerful enough for even the most active of athletes, Arthri-Zen provides fast relief for minor aches and pains associated with arthritis, backaches, sprains, bruises, strains, and stiffness.

And the September 2009 Top Ten As Seen on TV Infomercial Products You’ve Never Heard of, Yet #1 Product: Digital Bible Keychain

– Some of us might keep a bible in our purses or backpacks (next to “The Art of War“). Some of us might keep a Bible in the glove compartment of our car. With the digital bible keychain, you can keep the Bible on a USB drive and read it next time you’re near a computer or USB-readable device.

You’re right, I’ve never heard of any of these. By the looks of them I can see why.
